This feature is not compulsory; it is just an additional security measure. To protect your account from potential fraud, you can set up security questions. Visa will use questions from your profile that other people would not have access to.

Some of these questions include your zip code, street address, or last four digits of your payment card. You’ll be required to answer some security questions to authenticate your identity if you log in from a new device or if you forget your password.

  • You’ll receive an email or text to your mobile to confirm your application

  • Edit card details
  • Set a default payment method
  • Add frequently used shipping address
  • Add a payment option

If your email address is already in use but not by you, you can reclaim the email address. Reclaiming your email address will shut down the previous Visa Checkout account and allow you to register your email address. To do this, use the “claim this account” link on the website and Visa Checkout will send instructions on how to proceed with your request to your email address.

You cannot change your user ID once you register, if you wish to change your email or phone number, you must register a new account and re-add all your profile details. It is advisable to close down your original account before doing this.

How to Use Visa Checkout Card

You can shop at any Visa Checkout participating outlet. After shopping, when you are set to pay for your purchase, commence checkout and click on the Visa Checkout logo. You can add the same Visa card as a payment method in multiple Visa Checkout accounts, though only a single authorized user can get alerts for the transaction for that card. Once you initiate checkout:

  • A Visa Checkout prompt will appear on your screen, enter your email address , you’ll then receive a One-Time-Pass code (OTP) in your email. Input the code in the Visa Checkout popup on your screen

Your account can be locked by Visa if you input the wrong email address, OTP or password too many times.
